Lord Bao is an upright and honest official and a political reformer in the Northern Song Dynasty. His memorial, located at the west bank of Lord Bao Lake, is not far from the Ancient City Hall of Kaifeng. Both belong to Lord Bao Lake Scenic Area.

One can be immediately touched by the solemnity and austerity  of Lord Bao once stepping into the memorial as expressed by his bronze statue and collections of his stories. A household name in China, Lord Bao has been worshipped for generations for his morality and strict law enforcement.
